À propos de l'événement
During the Slow Ways Weekend in Brussels, Roger Fähndrich presents his new sound walk A Steep Climb. Starting from Roger’s personal story with illness and hardship, the sound piece unfolds into reflections on human motivation and the question, what should and can be done for our troubled world today. This walk is part of the ongoing research project Twisted Lamentations, in which Roger explores “the crisis” through a cycle of 15 self-critical protest songs. A Steep Climb refers to the many hills to climb in Brussels, and also in life. The narration is arranged alongside improvised music, which gives space for the reflections to settle.
Welcome to a slow dive into the mysteries of a twisted mind!
The sound pieces are in English. Please bring your own headphones if you can.
